The client

Treeconomics operates across the UK and Europe, with a steadfast commitment to cultivating enduring partnerships, Treeconomics specialises in crafting and executing strategies aimed at enhancing urban forests for the long term.

From its humble beginnings as a pioneer in the industry, Treeconomics has consistently remained at the forefront, renowned for its unparalleled expertise in tree valuation and strategic planning. Continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation, the company prides itself on delivering cutting-edge solutions to assess and optimise urban treescapes.

The Challenge

To enhance the Treeconomics brand through a fresh website design that includes a more personable look, a variation of colour, and a more animated feel to bring the site to life. The new and improved site needed to clearly communicate to prospective customers the purpose and values of the brand, its mission, and the services or solutions that it offers.

The Solution

As part of the website assessment, we had a scoping day to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the existing website, and how it aligned with Treeconomics vision for growth in the future. Identifying a number of improvements, we implemented a customised area tailored to each of Treeconomic’s key customer types, with target content that’s most relevant to them.

In doing so, we’ve made the specialist services offered by Treeconomics more visible to both customers navigating the website, as well as those searching via Google. These vary from strategies to improve urban forests to bespoke consultancy services. Navigating the site is also aided by the implementation of a mega menu, clearly categorising and sign-posting each of the services offered to the user, and designed to ensure visitors engage with the content most relevant to them.

In order to create a more personable feel to the website, we also arranged a day with the Treeconomics team, videoing and photographing them working collaboratively at their premises in Exeter Science Park. The end result is a series of photos that showcase the team, as well as the individual products that they offer, including specialist tree canopy mapping software such as TreeKeeper, as well as tree valuation tools such as iTree.

Chris has designed and built a professional looking website for our company, and we are absolutely delighted with it! He has been incredibly creative, offering suggestions along the way as to how we could enhance the appearance and functionality of the site.
